Imperial County Power Generation and Storage Projects

RMM serves as CEQA and land use counsel to Imperial County for major power generation and energy storage projects in one of California’s most active renewable energy regions. RMM advises the County on environmental review and entitlements for large-scale solar facilities, battery energy storage systems, geothermal power plants, and lithium extraction and processing facilities, helping the County navigate complex CEQA, land-use, and permitting requirements. RMM also represents the County in litigation defending environmental documents and discretionary entitlements.
