Los Angeles World Airports – Airport Planning & Environmental Litigation

RMM represents Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), the division of the City of Los Angeles that owns and operates Los Angeles International Airport and Van Nuys Airport.

RMM advises LAWA on development projects and long-term planning initiatives at both airports, including environmental review and regulatory compliance under CEQA and related statutes in one of the nation’s most complex and highly scrutinized aviation environments. RMM has successfully defended multiple legal challenges to airport projects and associated environmental documents, and negotiated settlements that resolve stakeholder and community concerns—protecting critical public infrastructure while allowing modernization efforts to proceed.
