Several of RMM’s attorneys will be presenters at the Association of Environmental Professionals’ “Advanced CEQA” classes around the state in February and March. Topics include a review of significant CEQA cases published in 2019 and guidance on regional air pollutant health risk assessments, GHG analysis, VMT, wildfire/hazards, and other current topics. Tiffany Wright will be presenting at the session on February 20th in Oakland. Jim Moose will be on the panel at the session on February 27th in West Sacramento. Sabrina Teller and Andrea Leisy will teach at the February 28th sessions in Eureka and San Luis Obispo, respectively. Chris Stiles will be on the panel at the March 3rd session in Santa Rosa. Laura Harris will participate in the San Jose session on March 6th.
Tiffany Wright will join a panel at the annual meeting of the California County Planning Directors Association discussing the transition from LOS to VMT analysis under SB 743 on March 11 in Sacramento.
On March 13, 2020, Jim Moose will be co-teaching the annual session entitled, CEQA Update, Issues and Trends, put on by the University of California at Davis Extension, located at One Capitol Mall, Sacramento, CA, 95814.
Andrea Leisy, Tiffany Wright and Sabrina Teller will be presenters on several panels at the Association of Environmental Professionals’ California State Conference at the Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite, April 19-22, 2020. Ms. Leisy will be on a panel titled, “Adjusting to California’s New Normal: Extreme Wildfire, CEQA, and Communities Vulnerable to Wildfire.” Ms. Wright will co-present the panel titled, “Preparing For A Post VMT World Apocalypse.” Ms. Teller will be on two panels, “CEQA’s Role in California’s Wildfire Crisis” and “Growing Good Impact Assessments.”
