Intuit Dome/Clippers Arena (AB 987)

Intuit Dome, the new home of the Clippers in the City of Inglewood, opened in August 2024 to rave reviews. The arena’s completion in time for the NBA’s 2024-2025 season was the result of an intense, collaborative effort between Inglewood and the Clippers. RMM represented Inglewood in the CEQA process, which brought together the top engineers, consultants, and attorneys in California. The EIR provides a model for analyzing and mitigating impacts on some of CEQA’s most complex topics, such as vehicle miles traveled, greenhouse gas emissions, and air quality and health impacts. To qualify for expedited judicial review under AB 987, the project was required to meet ambitious standards for greenhouse gas emissions and vehicle miles traveled, among other requirements. In addition to helping the city prepare the EIR, RMM also developed and managed the process of gathering, reviewing, and posting documents to a website daily to qualify for expedited judicial review.
