Marina Coast Water District

RMM serves as environmental outside counsel to the Marina Coast Water District and the Marina Coast Water District Groundwater Sustainability Agency, providing ongoing advice and strategic counsel on complex projects that involve overlapping state and federal regulatory frameworks, including the Coastal Act and CEQA.

RMM has represented MCWD in high-profile proceedings concerning the Monterey Peninsula Water Supply Project and related desalination facilities, addressing issues of groundwater extraction, coastal development permitting, and interagency coordination with the California Coastal Commission, the California Public Utilities Commission, and other agencies.
